Fatburn Mania
iOS app for home workouts

Overview
Fatburn Mania is a home workout app on the App Store. The product’s job is to remove everything standing between a person and starting: no gym, no equipment, no programme to choose. Open the app and today’s workout is already assembled.
Challenge
Fitness apps lose the user before the workout, not during it: onboarding is too long, there is too much choice, and it is unclear what to do today.
- The path from launch to the first exercise had to be as short as possible
- An exercise needs to be shown, not described in text
- Training at home without equipment is a core product constraint
- There has to be a reason to come back tomorrow
Solution
We built the app around the workout of the day: it is already assembled and opens from the home screen. Every exercise is shown as an animation with a timer, while progress, counters and rewards give a reason to return.
- Workout of the day on the home screen — no programme selection
- A step-by-step player with exercise demonstration and timer
- Water, calorie and step counters plus body measurements
- Challenges and rewards as the return mechanic
- Sync with the Health app
