Sintar Group is the official distributor of niche perfume houses in Kazakhstan — M.Micallef, Fragonard, Les Parfums de Rosine, Crabtree & Evelyn and others. The store had to look worthy of the brands the company represents while supporting choice in a category where a single fragrance carries a dozen meaningful attributes.

In perfumery people choose by properties, not by name: collection, notes, concentration, volume, gender, country. A plain product grid does not support that kind of choice, and an overloaded filter scares people off.

  • A fragrance has a dozen attributes, and any of them can be the deciding one
  • For a distributor a brand is an entry point of its own, not a row in a filter
  • Niche houses need restraint, not a discount storefront
  • Collections matter more than categories — a buyer picks from a line
  • The catalogue, prices and stock change on the client’s side

We built a catalogue filtered by fragrance attributes and sortable, gave brands a section of their own as a second way into the catalogue, and organised the product page around attributes and its collection — from there a buyer moves to neighbouring fragrances instead of returning to the full list.

  • Eight filters: price, availability, gender, country, concentration, collection, notes and volume
  • Sorting by price and by new arrivals inside the catalogue
  • A page per house — brands work as a section, not just a filter value
  • A product page with an attribute table and composition
  • A “products in this collection” block as the primary navigation
  • Cart, delivery and payment on the site instead of messenger threads
  • A customer account and a newsletter subscription
  • Filtered catalogue

Eight parameters and sorting — choosing by attribute, not by name.

  • Brand sections

Every house has its own section — a second way in, beside the filters.

  • Product page

Attributes, notes, composition and availability on one screen.

  • Collections

Move to neighbouring fragrances in a line straight from the product page.

  • Checkout and account

Cart, delivery, payment and a customer account — the order is completed on the site.

  • Bilingual catalogue

Interface in Russian and Kazakh; products, prices and stock are run by the client.

  • 01

    Choice by property

The filters match how perfumery is actually chosen.

  • 02

    Brands as entry points

Every house has a section of its own that ads can point to directly.

  • 03

    Collection as navigation

Buyers move along a line rather than back to the full catalogue.

  • 04

    A premium presentation

Restrained typography and large cards instead of a discount grid.

  • 05

    Purchase on the site

Orders are completed entirely online, delivery and payment included.

  • 06

    The client runs the catalogue

Products, prices and stock are updated without going through a developer.
