How to connect Kaspi Pay to a website: step by step

To connect Kaspi Pay to a website, you first become a Kaspi Pay partner. That happens online in the Kaspi Pay app, and sole proprietors need no paperwork. Then you choose how to take payment: a remote payment link, an invoice sent to the buyer's phone number, or the Payments service in the Kaspi.kz app, which requires an application. The first two work straight from the Kaspi Pay app, and the third needs Kaspi's approval. Accepting Kaspi Gold costs 0.95% of the amount under Kaspi Pay tariffs. The monthly fee is ₸1,950, and the first month is free.

Who can join Kaspi Pay

Organisations that sell goods or services in Kazakhstan can join: sole proprietors (IE), LLPs, farms, homeowner associations, notaries, lawyers and private bailiffs. The account holder must be 18 or older. An LLP is connected by its director. Online sign-up for an LLP requires founders who are individuals over 18, and the company and its director must be Kazakhstan residents. Companies with tax debt cannot join. Non-residents can apply, but Kaspi will request a set of documents.

Step 1. Register in Kaspi Pay

Download the Kaspi Pay app and sign up. Registration is open daily from 7:00 to 23:00, and a Kaspi Pay account is opened along the way. Connect Kaspi Kassa as well: it is free and issues fiscal receipts automatically. Kaspi reminds partners that business payments belong in a business account, with a fiscal receipt for the buyer.

Step 2. Choose a payment option

Remote payment link. The Kaspi Pay app has a ready link, and Kaspi explicitly allows placing it on your website. The buyer taps it, the Kaspi.kz app opens, they enter the amount and pay. The cashier gets a notification with the buyer's name and message. It needs nothing but a button on the site. The downsides: the buyer types the amount, and you match payments to orders by hand, so ask buyers to put the order number in the message. Links are generated per sales point, so create a separate one for the website. Partners who enabled Kaspi Red+ or Kaspi Kredit after 1 July 2025 can accept only Kaspi Gold through the link.

Invoice to the buyer's phone. You enter the buyer's number, the amount and what it is for. The invoice appears in the Kaspi.kz app and must be paid within 24 hours, or it is cancelled automatically. The amount is exact, and the buyer can also use Kaspi Red+, bonuses, instalments or a purchase loan if you have them enabled. Someone has to send the invoices, though. Third-party services that automate this exist, but they are not Kaspi products. Check how they access your account, because Kaspi's rules forbid sharing access with third parties.

Payments on Kaspi.kz. Your company appears in the Payments section of the Kaspi.kz app, and buyers find it by name and pay. IEs and LLPs registered with the State Revenue Committee can apply, and Kaspi replies within 5 business days. Fees depend on the category, for example 0.95% for private schools and courses and 3% for "other". For online stores, Kaspi sets fees individually. The open guide has no public technical spec for linking this to website orders, so clarify the technical terms with the Kaspi manager.

Kaspi marketplace button. If you already sell on the Kaspi marketplace, Kaspi's official «Купить в кредит» ("Buy on credit") button can go on your product pages. It opens your Kaspi listing, so the order and the commission stay on Kaspi.

Card payments alongside Kaspi. Kaspi Gold is a bank card, so buyers can pay with it on any site with standard card acquiring. A store should offer both: cards with automatic order status, and Kaspi Pay for people who prefer the app.

Steps 3 and 4. Build it into the site, then test

The site needs a clear Kaspi button in the cart and on the thank-you page. Put the order number in the payment message or invoice. Track order statuses in the admin and send a Telegram or WhatsApp alert for every new order. On desktop, show the link as a QR code for the buyer's phone camera. Before launch, run a small real payment from both phone and desktop, check the cashier alert and the Kaspi Kassa receipt, then process a refund.

On Kaspi's side, joining and opening an account cost ₸0. After the free first month the fee is ₸1,950 a month, and accepting Kaspi Gold costs 0.95%.
